Dear Destination Travel Planning Service Fees

Planning the perfect vacation takes time, expertise, and trusted connections, things that go far beyond simply booking flights or hotels. At Dear Destination Travel, you can count on my integrity in planning based on your best interest, and not my commission. My goal is to design trips that are seamless, memorable, and tailored to you.

Because of the care and detail I put into each itinerary, I charge a small service fee to cover the initial time spent researching and planning, as well as the time spent on continued coordination and support leading up to and during your trip. This fee ensures I can dedicate my full attention to creating the best possible travel experience for you.

Why a Service Fee?

Think of it as hiring a professional consultant. Instead of spending endless hours researching online, you’ll have an experienced travel advisor who brings industry expertise, exclusive partnerships, and personalized guidance—saving you time, stress, and often money.

What’s Included:

  • Personalized consultation to understand your travel style and preferences
  • Destination research, vetted supplier recommendations, and insider tips
  • If available I advocate for and facilitate VIP service and upgrades
  • Customized itineraries that match your budget and interests
  • Up to 2 rounds of revisions
  • Booking and coordination of flights, accommodations, transfers, tours, and more
  • DDT customized packing list and confirmation tracking sheet
  • Ongoing support before, during, and follow-up after your trip

Fee Structure

  • Trip Planning Fee: $150–$900 per trip (depending on complexity)
    • Example Fees:
      • $150: 2-4 days; single destination
      • $200: 5-7 days; single destination
      • $300-$350: 7 days; up to 2 destinations
      • $550: 14 days; up to 2 destinations
      • $700: 14 days; up to 4 destinations
      • $900+: Longer than 2 weeks; multiple destinations
  • Airline Ticketing: Additional $50 per domestic ticket / $100 per international ticket
  • Group Travel: For 6 or more travelers. Additional $25-50 per person (depending on number of guests and trip complexity)

* These fees are separate from supplier commissions and allow me to provide concierge-level service from start to finish. Final rates will be determined once trip complexity is established. I am happy to field any and all questions related to fees.

What’s Included:

  • One 30-min discovery call and 2 rounds of revisions
  • Personalized day-by day itinerary with breakdown of trip structure
  • Hotel, restaurant, transportation and activity recommendations with booking links (bookings are the responsibility of the traveler)
  • Destination travel guidelines(visa fees, etc)
  • Recommended packing list and confirmation tracking sheet

  • Tailored Itinerary Packages:
    • Getaway Package: 1- 4 Day Travel Itinerary: $230
    • Escape Package: 5 – 8 Day Travel Itinerary: $370
    • Journey Package: 9 -14 Day Travel Itinerary: $499
    • Ultimate Expedition Package: 15 – 30 Day Travel Itinerary: $799
